Create the record from a supported URL
Create a video in the target workspace and collection, choose the YouTube source option, and provide the public video URL requested by the form.
Review the imported metadata
SuperDuper Videos may store a public metadata snapshot and copy supported public thumbnail assets into the video’s asset library. Review the title, description, image, and collection placement before publishing.
Use source-appropriate settings
YouTube playback has source-specific behavior. Review related-video and native-control options when they are available, then test the final player rather than assuming hosted-upload settings behave identically.
Resync when public metadata changes
If the public YouTube title or thumbnail changes, use the available metadata synchronization workflow and review the result. Do not depend on an old snapshot updating silently.
