Choose a supported file
The current browser upload flow accepts MP4, MOV/M4V, and WebM sources. The current maximum duration is three hours, while file-size and usage limits can be lower depending on the active plan.
- Prefer the highest-quality practical source
- Use a complete file with stable audio and video tracks
- Keep a local copy until playback has been accepted
Let the resumable transfer finish
Large files are divided into fixed parts and uploaded with bounded concurrency. If the network drops, the browser pauses retry consumption and can reconcile the saved session when the connection returns.
Avoid clearing site data or switching browsers during an interrupted upload because the local resume state belongs to the browser that started it.
Playback and previews finish separately
Once the private original is durable, playback ingest and poster preparation begin on the time-sensitive path. Animated previews and other heavier derivatives can complete independently.
A video may therefore become playable before every optional visual asset is finished.
If the upload stops
- 1 Confirm the device is online
- 2 Return to the same video in the same browser
- 3 Resume or retry the saved upload
- 4 If reconciliation fails, record the file size, browser, network and visible error before contacting support
